With the New Year comes a new schedule for January and February. I continue to try to improve the booking system to make things easier on families. The offerings have also been adjusted and dialed in to be flexible for busy players and parents.
Booking
As you visit the booking page, you will see a new look. Instead of me defining what type of lesson or workout is offered, I have added all my available times for hitting sessions. Now parents can choose whether that time is an Individual Lesson or Group Workout.
Available times
- Tuesdays
- 7:00-8:00pm
- 8:00-9:00pm
- Thursdays
- 7:00-8:00pm
- 8:00-9:00pm
- Fridays
- 10:00-11:00am
- 11:00am-12:00pm
- Sundays
- 1:00-2:00pm
- 2:00-3:00pm
Please book at least 48 hours in advance. Some days might not be available on the calendar because I will be out of town or The Hut isn’t available.
Individual Lessons
Cost = $50
If you choose a 1:1 Individual Hitting Lesson, your player’s session will involve some more advanced technology.
- Blast Motion Sensor – to measure data regarding keeping the barrel of the bat on plane with the pitch longer
- Pocket Radar – for tracking exit velocity
- OnForm – video analysis of swings and messaging
Group Workouts
Cost = $25/player
Group Workouts are for 2 to 4 players and can be a mix of ages as well as both baseball and softball players. I’m encouraging families to coordinate between friends to make up the group workouts. This will help with ride sharing as well as creating a fun and competitive environment for hitting.
With the new booking system, there is the ability for up to four different players/families to reserve the same slot for a Group Workout. Families can also book for more than one player at the same time. Once the session has reached four players, it will no longer show as available through the booking system.
If the minimum number of players (2) for a Group Workout is not met, you will have the choice to switch to an individual lesson or cancel the session.
Because of group dynamics, these workouts will revolve around drills and competitive hitting games. Using the different types of technology doesn’t work as smoothly with several different players and will mostly be used during Individual Lessons.
Notifications
You will receive two notifications during the booking process. When you complete your reservation, you will receive an email showing that the session is ‘Pending’. I will go in and approve the reservation – and add it to my calendar (so everyone is on the same page). After I change the status, you will receive your second email showing that the session is ‘Approved’.
As always, if you have any questions, please text me or reach out through the OnForm app.
